We have been reading up on htem and asking some others on what they thought.
She likes the Bredli, but have been told she will be sorry as they are extremely snappy.
Then she thought a Darwin Carpet- told they are also extremely snappy.
Can others give us their opinions please. Especialy if you have either of these 2 varieties in your collection.
Thanks

George : Male - He's fine to handle and seems to enjoy coming out
Martha : Female - She is a little flighty, moves fast to start off with and then calms down. She hasn't bitten though.
Then mums:
Nutmeg - She's adorable and doesn't care what you do with her and hasn't even looked like striking.
Like everyone says, each snake has it's own temperment.

After the first shed in my custody she changed and became fine but now he is a really cranky fella. They still both don't mind having ago though. hopefuly after this shed they may settle down. as they are really starting to get bigger.
get her another childrens and tape them together. |

I have a jungle which everyone says are really snappy but my girl is the best handler. She has never bitten or attempted to bite and I can reach stright into her enclosure without fear of getting bitten, which is great as she is getting pretty big now. I also recently got a Bredli which is also tame as, so yeah it definately depends on their individual personality. It might help to purchase an older snake which is already tame, friendly and good with children. | |
