Some Cape York lines

Here's a few shots of some Capes....
as per B/W Cape York thread; thats still locked.
The first two (adults) are from shane Blacks line..
owned by a breeder in sydney....in shead; but gives one an idea.
The other two; are bred from ones that i sold to a breeder in Sydney....
Both lines were originally from a breeder in the N.T....very similar in appearence.

The first picture; is of the adults i sold to a breeder down Sydney....
Quite impressive snakes IMO...the oranges really coming out as they age.
The next is of a wild one that was really starting to put the mice of breeding; and i had to remove it. The third is another local to show how variable they can be; just within my area.
The third is of a juv; one of a few that live in the shed....as one can see; can appear very B/W as juv's.....i've watched this animal grow over the last year; the oranges/reds now starting to show;
When i see it next; i'll get some updated shots to show the difference in colour change.

Heres another shot of that B/W juv Cape....to show how B/W they can be when young.....
very nice....The other shot is yearlings belonging to NT breeder.
Capes are quite amazing; the extreame colour difference they can come in; even within the same local....some are truely stunning!!!!; lines stripes...red, orange, whites, creams etc etc....
However they grow quite large, having large clutchs......

I don't normally chime in with the whole "omg nice snake!" threads, as most of them are fairly average.

However, I will make an exception for these...I've got to try and get some of these dark red Coastal Taipans out so I have something to barter when I put the hard word on Shane!

Cheers

Jonno
