I just love taking closup shots of my herps, to try and capture the look in there eyes, which are sometimes just amazing, so i'd like to see everyone post some closeup shots of there herps!

They are fantastic photos mate, what type of camera do you use?
I will get some photos of my herps as soon as i get home.

Thanks for the compliments! Its a Fuji 4mpxl 10xoptical zoom S5500 i think is the name.
Takes a great photo and the zoom is awesome, i think browns has the same camera, i had to get so close to get the good closups though, and i was lying down with my hand wobbling so could have been better but hey, cant complain.
Look forward to seeing the pics.

oh lol damn screen to long to refresh
I have the fuji S7000 12mg pix but i cant take photos that nice damn ok now i am going to take 100s until i get one that nice.

hahah id love that camera!
I have found its all about stayin still, tripod work excellent too. if its drk obviously use the flash, but i find i take 10x better shots outside in the sun, nice and bright. Helps if the snake co-operates too of course, i probably take about 100 shots to get 2 good ones, then I take a look at the ones i like and zoom in on the picture after i have taken it.
12 mp man you could put a picture on a billboard!!

Also i use a function (not sure what its official name is) where i can hold down the take picture button and it takes multiple shots, up to 40, but i usually do it for three. works great because if the first one is blurry the second might be a little better and the third better again.

nice pics mate they look spectacular!!!,
i also use a fuji finepix s5500, not a bad camera for the price but as you said a steady hand to get a good shot.
