Some newly hatched jungles

After a couple of months of waiting my jungle hatchies have finally all crawled out of their eggs.

Heres some pics of the first few at 3 days old. They havent shed yet, so just look like shiny patterned worms.

One of them already shows typical jungle temperment and managed to draw blood before it was 24 hours old. With that much spirit he has to be a keeper

Thanks everyone. I am absolutely stoked with them and cant wait until they shed to see their colours. When that happens I'll take photos of them all (there goes a whole day).

Jill, yeah it was great yesterday to catch up with everyone and meet a few new people.

Here's another little one from a different clutch that has a bit of a stripe happening. Quite a few of his siblings are partially striped too.

Oh yeah there are some keepers to be had. All 3 clutches were very uniform in pattern so its really hard to choose which are the best at this early stage (except of course for the stripey ones). Might have to be greedy and hold them all back

Nah, not locale specific, but not many truely are anyway. I could spin you a yarn if you'd like

For all 3 clutches I used a Montgomery male. He's a very typical banded black and gold and bites at every possible opportunity

The females are from Berridge (dont hold that against the snake ), Krauss (this one had the stripe) and the last was a reduced pattern experiment from Mark Sim (although he didnt breed her).

Sounds like a high quality group of animals you have there, except for the Berridge female of course.
