Best to leave them untill the bulge is going down in their belly. It is ok to move it if you feed out of the enclosure. Just don't go holding it more than necessary.

i believe its best to leave any snake that has been fed for 2-3 days. others may have different opinions.
cheers.

none of my snakes eat in the enclosure , well my 7foot carpet does but he is too hard to move all the time, anyway... as i said all of the others have seperate large feeding tubs that they feed in, usually when they are finished, i will pick up the tub and rest it at the door of there enclosure and they go straight back into there home without any problems. only on the rare occasion if there being naughty (like the water python) do i have to pick them up. but its best to leave them a good 2 to 3 days after eating.

i allow 2-3 days. My mac thinks she is going to get fed again and it takes this long for her to settle down again.

You shouldn't handle any snake after it's just fed. I wait until my spotty has pooped, and then I start handling her again.

We feed all of ours in their enclosures so we don't disturb them after feeding! They just eat and then find a nice little spot to curl up in and digest their food!
It is good to leave them at least 48hrs before you handle them! Otherwise you may disturb the food and they'll regurgitate it and you DON'T want that!!
Good Luck

I don't handle mac for two days after feeding. I feed outside the enclosure but move her feed tub in the enclosure let get out and then remove it.
