They both grow relatively small and around the same size which is what im looking for being a begginer snake keeper.

From all my research it seems to come down to personal preference as all are very similar. There are heaps of similar threads if you do a search. Hope this helps  |

|  | Regular Member | Join Date: Mar-06 Location: Brisbane Age/Gender: 23  | | | Cape york spotted pythons are actually much bigger than childreni and can grow to over 1.5m, even the southern type get up to around 1.2m. They are also much more heavily built.
All the Anteresia species are great snakes to start with. It really comes down to which one you like best, all can vary in appearance too so have a good look around and dont rush in. |

but there are plenty of people keeping them , myself included .......
