Hi,
I was wondering if a 84cm long and a 50cm long stimsons python will go together.
Is there to much of a size difference?
Thanks

Do you mean for breeding purposes or just to keep them together?
I would not keep them together (I don't like keeping any pythons together, if I don't have a cage I don't get the snake), but if they are both adults then you can put them together for breeding (too late for this year though) just keep a good eye on them.

Should be OK imo. I kept a 20cm and 1m mac together for a couple of months and never had any probs. Except when the smallest one would eat the larger ones food, i kept thining that he would explode lol.

I have a year old male childreni in with a 2 year old female, have no probs so far, touch wood, still a bit spooky around each other but with more time they'll be fine. Always feed them seperately!

I wouldn't keep them together. I had a smaller female in with my male for a while and after separating them when I had the space I found she fed more easily and was less jumpy once living on her own.
By mass a 85cm stimmi would be close to double the size of a 50 cm stimmi. I think my female did have issus of intimidation from my larger male. I think it's unlikely you'll have major issues like one killing or eating the other though. It's your call as you'll have people saying for and agaisnt the issue.

Cool, thanks guys and girls. I picked up the stimmii today and its a lot smaller than what i was told. However its still pretty so I got and i'll just wait a little longer she's 84cm he's 47cm.
And as you said she's a lot more % wise in mass, so unless people say i shouldn't have problems i'll seperate them for now.
Thanks

Keep them separated.
