survey CC or VIV?

howdy

i thought ill have fun and start another survey

im a starter
i see alot of ppl keep there youngs hatches juv in click clack
but i thought cheapest option would be to get a enclosure ready and chuck the click clack in the viv

so you dont have to buy all the extras
heat matt etc....

plz note this is for hatches and juv so small snakes
wouldnt wanna fit a 6ft in a click clack lol

It has already been stated several times over the last week that large enclosures will stress a young snake. So the obvious answer is to keep them in a small click clack.

Keeping the click clack in the large enclosure would be fine though so long as you can maintain a heat gradient in the container.

hi jandC

ya i alrdy said that
only reason why i made this survey
cuz no matter wat youll get a click clack
but wat i meant was when you have nothing should you start out with enclosure click clack inside
that way you dont have to buy extras
hence heat matt....

Understand what you meant about heating, rather than purchasing 2 lots of heating equipment etc.
But is the poll option for click clacks vs vivs? or click clacks vs click clacks in vivs?

Personally if you dont have a hatchling rack or are not growing an excessive amount of juveniles I would go with radiant heat panels. These can be used on a thermostat as a heat matt where you sit the click clack ontop of it, and later when the snake is ready for the larger enclosure it can be fixed to the roof to give a basking site. I use heat panels in all my enclosures & swear by them.
