I have a custom made enclosure (I made it, not quite finished) which has 2 BHP's, seperated, in the space 900x900x500.
What should the temp be & how do you up the humidity?
They hve had problems shedding with the most recent today.
My 3yo DP sheds without a problem.

That breeder's choice rubbish you're using is causing the shedding problems. Get rid of it ASAP and start using newspaper. You will see the difference quite quickly.

I use that with the DP and it doesnt hinder her shedding.
I watched her going through the breeders crap and it wasnt a problem.
Interesting. Thanks for your comment.

The Diamond probably spends a lot of the time in the off the ground. BHP's spend most of their time on the ground in direct contact with the breeder's choice. In any case, i'm sure it won't be long before the Diamond starts to have problems too. You really should get rid of the bredeer's choice ASAP - trust me mate.

How often do you change the breeders choice? Maybe too frequent changing is dehumidifying the enclosure, I leave mine out in a tub for a couple of days to take up air moisture before using it in the enclosure.
It looks like you've got a big enough water bowl - maybe too big so you wouldn't think the humidity would be low. Is the enclosure wood sealed?
Temps low to mid 30s at the hot end.
I like how you've hidden the heatlight away - nice

The breeders choice gets removed in the area where the snakes have defecated & urinated. So its only a small amount removed and the remainder respread.
The wood is pine & mdf stain laquered.
Having said that I will remove the stuff & see how that goes.
Will keep you update next shed.

i would move the water bowl a little closer to the heat which will increase evaporation a little which may help. that is what i did with my mac when she had a few bad sheds
cheers
