Temperamental Olive

Hi guys i got a 8 month old olive at home with an attitude problem. She doesn't like you admiring her in her cage and handling her in her cage but is fine when i get her out. She has split her lip from striking at the glass and just wondering if any one has some idea's on how to prevent this or settle her down?

Cover the tank with a towl or sheet, if you want to watch her then use a inferred light in her tank and have the room dark.

And put her tank somwhere with low or preferably no traffic.

then let her bite you all she wants until she realises your not a threat, then she will settle down, and dont feed her in her cage, or else she will get more cage protective

both mine used to strike out at the glass. just covered the enclosure with a towel for a few weeks and made sure there was plenty of noise in the house after that they were fine
