Around 32 at basking site and then let it cool towards the other end. I like to drop it a bit at night aswell, but others keep it at a constant temp.

at the moment the basking directly under the light is at 34 and the other end is on 22 it is on a thermostat so i can change it or is it allright

I take it you ended up picking that one up from simon, 34 at the hot end is not to bad as long as they can get away from it when they want to. If they have the choice and they don't go toward the hot end at all then I'd think about lowering it a bit
