thermostat question(again lol)

hi guys i am pretty new to this i have done my fair share of reading though and have bugged my friend as she has a stimson and that is what i am getting but what i was wondering is where would you guys fit the imit thermostat on my enclosure the light (heat source two party lights 40 watt) will be on the left spaced out but not coming past half way
the measurements are 900 wide 600 high 400 deep

i would put it on the back wall at the halfway mark.

thanks dan 123 for your reply i had intended to pop it on the back wall was not really sure as to height which you answered thank you now just wondering should it be closer to the heat side or further towards cooler side

approx half way accross the tank and about 200mm of the floor
