They don't care!

I am now of the opinion that wether i wash my hands thoroughly, or not, my bhps don't care. If they are hungry they will attempt to eat me.
Fortunatly, by spending hours studying their feeding responses I have learnt to pre-empt their attempt at grabbing my hand by just the smallest margin, well for today anyway!

I have a female Bredli who is the same, she was the best handler but for the last year has been way to hungry for her own good.

I know how you feel cement. Have to be able to read BHPs body language or you become a part of their diet. I can tell with mine as soon as I open their enclosure if they're going to bite - they throw themselves out of the cage at me

lol my bhps are so different, they are the funniest snakes to watch eat. they dont lung at the food at all, they just go up and slowly bite it, no coils nothing. Touch wood they dont get to eager.

Pics or it didn't happen. Everyone knows the rule.

My BHP likes to have a bite when I get him out.
