We caught a large tiger snake, just lazing around on our barbecue it measured two metres is this the average lenght of these snakes, is this normal for a tiger snake to lay around in such an open spot

if a venomous snake bites ya and it doesnt hurt it should at least give you a burning sensation

Where are you from? At this time of the year in SA, you can find the females sunning getting ready to give birth.
Oh, and two meters is huge for a mainland tiger.

Hi there Paul here , Haydes Dad the tiger snake measured at 1.9 metres long it was laying across our barbie in the afternoon sun, sorry but we didnt get pictures it was quite aggresive l have two Beagles in the yard so l had get the snake to move on it hid under a rock, and l had to call a Pro snake handler to come and get it we live in Diamond Creek on the outskirts of Melbourne and get a lot of tigers around our place but this one was huge, ranger was going to take it up the bush and set ir free
