Hi, I was looking for herping spots down at Little River (between Werribee & Geelong) and came accross a smaller tiger about 70cm but skinnier. It scurried across a dirt track and i followed . It tried to burrow in the grass 3 or 4 timesand then it reared up, appeared to flatten out (i assume threat posture to make itself look bigger) then disappeared. I took 3 photos but not one had the snake in it. I was spewing.Anyway there coming out now so be aware.
P.S. it startled me when it reared as i was stupidly close.
