Twin Jungle carpets hatchie

Hello All,

My jungle eggs started hatching last week and I got some nice surprises, this one is one of them, I thought I'd share the pics......

how big was the egg in comparison to the others? just out of interest - double yolker herp style!!

are they identical or not? OMG so cool! if they are its the same embryo developed into to and if not it is two seperate embryo's encased in the same shell - hard to believe it is a mistake of mother nature

thats awesome mate, any others turn out like that, was the egg bigger in comparison to the others, that is really cool, i want me some twins lol

Hi Serpant_Lady,

There were 12 eggs from that clutch and each egg average 30 to 34 grms, the twin egg was 31 grms, every single eggs hatch out and they all appear to be healthy. The average weight of hatchie is 25-26 grms and the twin hatchie weighs 27 grms together they look alike but not identical, I will post pics of them soon as I get a chance to take some.

wonder if its a male and female if so it may be a "sign" that you should keep them too
