Very unusual wild darwin

I caught this little fella this morning. I don't think it is an escaped pet but it sure doesn't look like any of the other darwins i've caught.

That is kinda strange, but I quite like it!
I guess being wild, there's a good chance it may have something else mixed in there.
Still a very nice looking snake though.

The chances of it being a hybrid are slim but i am going to talk to some other herpers to see what they think.

Nice snake,
I dont think there is any reason to suspect its anything but a
Darwin carpet, its a carpet they come in all sorts.

I was asked to ID a snake for EPA yest, it was a Darwin that was caught in Mt Isa. Nice snake too, was prob an escapee or hitched a ride....
Thats a nice snake Gordo....beautiful patterns!
