Question Victorian Carpet

Can anyone shed any light on keeping a Victorian Carpet ?? My girlfriend picked it up yesterday and I was searching on info for the little tacker. I would think being from down south they would be used to colder temperatures ?? What area do they most likely come from in Victoria ?? Or is it as simple as an common coastal husbandry ?? Any advise appreciate and links if possible, google is not my friend in this case. Will post pics when it's used to its new home and comes out to say hello for the camera.

hey, there from mostly around the murray darling basin and are probably more accurately from SA instead of Vic. also called inland python and Murray Darling. i have one and was told to kepp him in similar conditions as my bredli. ie hot spot of about 30degrees. lower humidity etc. im just a newby so not sure how accurate any of this realy is. it's just what i've been told. maybe someone with more experience will add? or correct me?

since none have corrected me yet, im assuming that most of my info was at least close to accurate. i really would like to find out if it's not especialy in regards to temp cos my little MD hasn't eaten yet with me so was wondering if temp may have been an issue?

If you keep them like any other carpet they would be fine, they are probably just a bit better at tolerating lower temps. I would drop night temps slighty and dont let the humidity get excessive.
