|  | Regular Member | | | | I imagine they see ok, specially at night when they are primarily active. It may or may not be movement orientated, mine seems to ignoreme through the glass if im real still but will look my way if i move. Im sure someone will know, very interestred myself~Cheers

These are heat sensory pits which give messages to the brain on heat signals. This can give them a infa red layout. Also snakes flick there toung in and out, this sends air particles to the jacobson organ which sorts out the messages and sends to brain. If you want more information keep asking and ill post more.

Not the only one by any means, and it would be theoretically possible for a blind snake to survive, but they would be at a severe disadvantage. There are some exceptions to this, but I assume we are speaking about snakes in general.
