it was illegal in victoria 30 years ago to run down kangaroos with dogs and still is today. Its a disgusting sport. I had a friend whos dada had salukis. Scarey dogs.
The other thing is when did kangaroos cease to be wild animals. When I was growing up we were always warned to steer clear of them as they could cause you a major injury or even kill you.
Whats changed.

Whats changed. | i agree i was attacked by a hungry kangaroo in a camp site and i knew it wasn't the animals fault even at that young age because its instinct and their nature Quote: |

If they arent of me I could be his long lost twin.
My son likes it. He has a cape that he made himself out of a sheet of A4, a ribbon and red and black felt pens. Its so embarrassing but its better than the long green tail he had for 18 months.

i've worked as a shooter and offsider and it is strictly government controled.i have also worked on cattle properties and the amount of roos that are shot for dog meat is amazing, this isn't controled.but there is no shortage of grey roos in australia.
i have also seen 3 dogs over the years drowned by buck roos in dams, useless hunting/working dogs if they make the mistake of chasing wildlife, particularly a roo.
the worst sight i've ever seen in my life was when a startled buck attacked my 6yr old daughter in a creekbed once.i taught her to cover her vital areas and face by curling into a tight ball if ever attacked by an animal, thank god she remembered.it took me 30 secs to get to her and the damage in that short period of time was scary{many stitches}.what followed was the hardest punch up i ever had...lol i am six foot and i was looking up at him.
