JasonL..........as far as I know once a snake ovulates it has to lay eggs, it's not unusal to see bhp's swell up with follicle development and for some reason not ovulate. I've no idea why this happens, I've been told lots of different reason. |

Alot of people will mistake follicle development as ovluation as females swell up, females can reabsorb egg follicles for whatever reason if they don't feel conditions are right for egg laying.
Once ovulation occurs females will lay, they ca become egg bound if things aren't good enough but it's not that common.
