So, how do you go about finding out if they are really 'natural intergrades' or 100% Coastals....Anybody know?

genetic work, i wouldnt be suprised if jungles and coastals are actually the same sub species though(just a guess based on what has happened to other reptiles and stuff). I heard someone was working on this but i dont know how it went or if its still ongoing.

l just love prossies...l had a large clutch hatch last year and have kept a couple which stood out from the day they hatched...now they are yearlings and just getting better looking everyday!!
l also have around 40 hatchling prossies to find homes for from this years hatchings...seemed to have a lot of interest at the expo recently Here's a pic(not a great pic) of paperdoll and friend 2 females l kept from last year Prossy clutch

Yes, on reading most of my books show some confusion/trepidation in this area of subspecies and what has been allocated to them. Any idea who it was doing the research cris?

I used to think that one my snakes was a coastal, but after seeing the other pics I don't really think it is lol, so what do you guys think?

errrr..A Prosperine is a coastal. Much the same as a Murray-Darling is an Inland python.

It looks very much like what is commonly called a "brisbane" carpet python.
