What is better BHP or GTP

hey everyone,
Just wondering everyones oppinion on the GReen tree python and the Black Headed Python. I was just wondering who liked what as these species are very controversial as some say the GTP (green tree python) is a very highly over rated species while some others say the BHP (black head python) is a much better species all together. So please consider all aspects including there overall look, temprement, cost, space neede etc.

Cheers,
Jeremy

I cant really speak because I don't neither....Infact, i dont even have a snake! But I've heard that the BHP are better from some friends...Only downfall is their price from what I've heard....

Hmmm...
Couldn't we of debated over BC or hybrids or LTG vs HTG?
I don't like this argument as everyone is more focused on the costs of the snakes in question rather than the actual species itself.
Anyways I prefer GTP.They require less enclosure area meaning many more enclosures and many more snakes. They have a considerable market value which appeals to me and they are a strikingly beautiful snake. However they are hard to get started on food at first and they do go off food for long period of times when older, they are not a species that should be handled alot IMO and they have high humidity requirements. At the end of the day it comes down to personal choice.GTP will require more effort, time and care as well as experience.

Wouldnt you need more space for the GTP since its aboreal? Can't remember if the BHP is but the GTP is really aboreal?

True they are aboreal but a simple 2x2x2 enclosure will suffice for a single GTP.

BHP all the way.

Less expensive, more interactive and a really cool looking snake.

Also can't face owning a snake that looks like a booger

who is the greatest rock band?, its a similar question, we all have personal taste and preference.
If someone had 1 of each for sale at the same price which would you buy?

Hehe.
Well BHP's are much better all a GTP is 2 me is a very expensive green carpet python, that just sits on the one branch 24/7 and a carpet that you can't really handle.
Whilst BHP's are active at night aren't so expensive, generally have great temperments and a good handlers. HMmmmmmmmmm
wonder which is the best snake.
IMO GTP's are better off in the wild......

Like I said in my original post every1 will determin which is better by market value. The fact is if you were offered a chance for free to own a pair of BHP (produce 10 eggs at 1k each <10k> ) or a pair of GTP (20 eggs 5k each <100,000k> ) Its obvious yous would all choose GTP.Lets be honest here!

Sorry to disagree with you CC.......... As everyone whos has talked to me on chat will know I hate GTP's . I would rather swap 50 GTP's for 1 BHP> NOt all of us are in the herp game for money lol. Even though a little would be nice .................
