You got it brunzwik......it's a jungle diamond hybrid but looks like a true jungle.I've had a few very experienced herpers check her out and none could tell she was a hybrid.I've seen a few jungle diamond crosses and many have similar head patterns to this one and a bit different to most jungle head patterns. You can also see a resembelence to a bredli head pattern.

Palmerston jungles are area form or locality bred and are found in the wild on the Innisfail side of the Atherton Tablelands.

Intergrades are natural and i haven't seen any pics of jungle coastal intergrades.Kuranda is where you will find jungles and coastals overlapping and breeding with each other.

Browns,

Lovely snake for what it is but I will say a few things, One it would interest you to know that in Qld and probably the rest of Australia it is illegal to purposely cross breed species of snake, I understand in some rare occasions species of carpet python species do overlap and have they ability to cross but is extremely rare, because there are many factors involved eg. Habitat (Geographical range), breeding cycles. You say that it is diamond x jungle well I cant see that being very natural, can not believe a jungle would ever cross breed with a diamond in the wild, I don’t believe in cross breeds and never will….lets keep them pure

Marc
