the general pet rabbit has far too much fur & less meat

It is the size of the feed rather than the potential size of the adult animal that really matters... Reptisas - I know bugger all about the breeds of rabbits - however, as Dragon Lady has said, a breed of rabbit bred for meat and consumption is likely going to be a lot better quality than a pet rabbit...

| | | | thanks everyone, we have 1 Murray darling who has already eaten a baby rabbit without fur but i wasnt sure what breed it was thanks for the tip on the meat rabbits this was the info i really wanted cheers, she weighs over 600g now. we also have 2x jungles, 2x spotted pythons and 1 bredli, spotted pythons are about 450g and the jungles and bredli are hatchlings so not yet ready for rabbits but they will be soon enough. |  |
