What sort of snake is this??

Hey guys,

A friend found this in his backyard and we cant figure out what sort of snake it is, can anyone help!?

I didnt actually see it in real life, he just gave me this pic

He said it was very aggressive and was feeding on the frogs in their backyard

If the said picture was taken up north It could be a Darwin carpet, but I would be happy to say its a coastal, and a nice one.
