Which Carpets in your opinion?

Which carpets in your opinion has generally the most aggressive nature and the least placid. In other words, which one is the least suitable for first time owners?
And also which one is the best for new owners?

I have heard that the Darwin Carpet is the most aggressive and the Murray Darling the best for new owners.

Cheers

Stiffler

Now hear comes the debates, so I will get in first. Darwin and Jungles are the most aggressive on an average. NOW before people reply saying how gentle they are remember, THERE ARE ALWAYS EXCEMPTIONS

The most placid species overall in my opinion is not the Murray Darling Carpet, but in fact the Centralian Carpet. I personally have never seen an aggressive C/B Centralian adult
Hope this helps

I was looking at the centralian also as good carpet to start with. It was a toss up. I do like the Centralian colours. I have a hatchling MD and he hasnt even looked like striking at me.
I also heard Jungles could be a bit more snappy.

In my opinion, if you're looking for a nice natured carpet, buy a nice natured carpet. I've seen snappy bredli and murray darlings and calm darwins and jungles. On average, the stories you'll hear about murray darlings being the tamest are quite possibly true and darwins, jungles and cape yorks being the nastiest also true, but since there are exceptions, go for an individual snake you like, whatever the subspecies.

handle, handle & then handle some more.. In my very limited experience & opinion I reckon it's the key! keep the temps right, and the handling calm & relaxed while they are young and you're half way there. My Darwins a doll!

look for a animal that looks good to you and handle it. if it is aggressive as a adult you only have yourself to blame for not handling it
