If your aim is to create "look alike jags", then #2 as its the only one with any kind of consistant bareback/reduced pattern running length wise.

I never said i want jag look a likes, i have a jag look alike, and i just want to conitnue his colour into a specific line.

The first one is just dark because of the pic, Ive spoken to the breeder(close friend of mine) and has looked at them carefully and said they are all basically the same is looks, stripe etc.

Now i have to decide which female i want!

Go Number 2 bro. That patterning will look even better once the little fella beefs up and puts on some size.

By the pics, I'm liking the one in the middle, but if you are picking up make a choice when you have seen them in the flesh.

it's only by pic's, the breeder lives a few hours up the coast.

At the moment it is between 2 and 3, 1 is still an option though.

Cheers

Selectively breeding for faux Jags makes about as much sense as selectively breeding for faux albinoes. At best you're going to get paler than usual animals, you may even get the occassional individual which looks quite exceptional, but unless you hit on an extreme mutation, you won't get anything that compares to the real McCoy. You might get something which looks sort of vaguely a little bit like Jaguars, but they're never going to really compare well and you're going to have to spend a good 6-10 years working on the project, by which time you'll be overtaken by the real Jags which will have hit the market by then. I don't want to rain of your parade and you may well come up with some gorgeous animals which you're very happy with, but you won't be getting anything significantly Jaguarine. Having said that, if you're keen, go to it and prove me wrong If you manage to, I'll put a hat on so I can take it off to you
