For around $30 you can pick-up,

"A field Guide to REPTILES of QUEENSLAND"
Steve Wilson

Covers all species found in QLD, good book.,

'Jonno From ERD' (a member here) has a book available called Wildlife of Greater Brisbane ,published by the Queensland Museum, for $30 if you were after a book not only on reptiles.

wildlife of greater brisbane sounds good and astralian zoo relocates them if you give them a call they only took the one as i caught the second one about 3 hours after they had picked up the first one and when i called them for the seconed time they were unable to come pick it up for some time so they asked if i would mind taking a drive into the country side and relocating it so i did as i would rather see them relocated than the people next door killing them

Thought relocating snakes was a no no? Or am I over-simplifying that?
