Why Are Diamond's Intergrades?

On alot of threads people have been saying that all diamonds are intergrades and pure diamonds are extinxt, is this true?

and if so how?

No that is not true. How can PURE diamonds be extinct when they are commonly found all the way down the NSW coast? I breed PURE diamonds and see them frequently in the wild. In some areas PURE diamonds exist in quite high numbers.

Many morons out there cross breed diamonds with coastal carpets, which create hybrids. They then try to label these hybrids as either naturally occurring intergrades or diamonds.

Yeh, hilarious, or you'll find even on the NSW availability booklet for Class 1 reptiles it says 'Diamond Python (Natural Intergrade)' thus.. proving you wrong...

Whenever people show a photo of a Diamond for real, there is always one person who starts talking about how it couldn't possibly be a pure diamond because of various reasons.

As a result, alot of people just make a joke about it so as soon as someone puts up a diamond they say "that CAN'T be a diamond - there's no such thing" etc.
