wich lizzard?

please help me I have a choice out of 1 orange phase bearded dragon OR 2 hatchling eastern
water dragons i am a first time owner but have had experience in reptiles
through vet nursing and want some advice in which would be better for me as
a first time owner.

I would go the bearded dragon for a first time lizzard owner

Personally,I would go for a skink of some sort, probably a blue tongue or shingle back.

mate ive kept bearded dragons since i was 5 there definetly a good starter not just lizard but reptile

water dragons are much more active and interesting to watch, although they do get bigger than beardeds. They are both pretty good starters. I have also found that bearded dragons are happier to be handled.
