How will you provide air circulation Magpie? Is that ness for oxygen?
p.s. Almaron, how did you go keeping your snake/s warm with the blackout?? *(sorry off topic)

Eggs require very little oxygen and the fridge won't need any ventilation.
The incubation tubs only need to be opened once a week but i do it once every couple of days.
Mags you should see if you can get a small fan to put in there, not essential but it does make for move even temps through out the incubator.

The plan for this year is just to use two shelves that get the right temps as I will only have one or two clutches. If I am expecting more than that in the future, I will install a fan.
While I'm on the subject, what sort of size plasyic tubs are suitable for incubating a clutch of large python eggs such as waters?

Wattso, I keep room with snakes pretty warm, and being summer here, it stayed warm pretty much all night. Never got cold enough to worry about. If it had been middle of winter here, then I would have to make other arrangements for sure. As it was, power loss didn't hurt to much. Just a minor inconvenience.
