World around us July 11

6:30 pm Channel 7
Sunday July 11
From the TV guide in the Adeliade Advetiser

"There are nearly 3000 different kinds of snake, of every imaginable color and appearance, living from the tropics to the Arctic ( ??!!? ), and from beneath the ocean to 5500m up in the Himalayas. Using uniique minaturised snake-cams mounted on wild snakes, tonights show exposes them as never before"

This is for Adeliade, I don't know if it is on in other cities.

I'm not familiar with the species that live in the seabed "beneath the ocean".

Fascinating I'm sure, but I missed the program.

If it lives in the arctic then it is highly unlikly to eat penguins. It proberly ambushes Walrus, lying in wait on the pack ice for an unwary walrus to wander too close then ...
WHAM. Digestion may take a while at 2c.

While we are on the subject, what is the most northery snake? Is it the garter snake?

Yeah Sherm, rockin...although I did need the explanation.

I heard that the snake in the Arctic was the one from "beneath the ocean." Eats whales, biggestsnakeintheworld and very hard to catch. No seriously. Goes to the Himalaya for a holiday & eats Yetis.
