Keep snake in seperate room or building for a least a month or until clear. Also wash your hands after handling the snake especially if you are going to handle other reptiles or people food.
And I thought I was over feeding my WPs at two rats a week. Personally I think you should adjust the feeding according to the season. Very little to nothing during the winter, heaps during spring and early summer and taper the food off during late summer/autum.
As just one dose of wormer proberly won't work. The trouble is that the snake excreates heaps of worm eggs out which my reinfect the snake. What you would need to do is keep the quarantine cage super clean (daily cleans) until worm free. |

| | | | Also you need a foot bath. At venom supplies I wasnt allowed to have any contact with other reptiles for 24hrs, now thats anal, but effective! Tim Nias really knows his reptile parasites..very smart man!
Fuscus I dunno if thats over-feeding or not, the population at fogg dam would eat more then that!! |

I have decided to definately not take him until he takes him to the vet and gets the problem identified properly, not worth the risk to my other snakes and lizards, no matter how much I want to take this big fella on.
THanks so much for helping me with this

And I wish people would stop mentioning Fogg Dam , on a cold miserable day like today it puts me in the mood to point my car north and drive |
