If money is an issue for you, don't buy large snakes.
    Pretty simple really.

how much dose it cost to feed one large snake a month. I keep 60 to 70 frogs atm and the feeding bill is huge. I probly spend 50 to 80 a week just on food.

Have you tried chickens? Mine will also eat those if it suits him.
They have taken chicks, but seem to prefer the quails over anything else. It annoys me no end! I have even thawed a small rat in the same bag as a quail, then proceeded to rub the quail all over the rat. Only problem then was that both items smelled like a rat-quail hybrid, and they wouldn't touch either of them. I hope they'll take to adult chickens when they're big enough... not looking forward to paying for the equivalent weight in quail if they don't...

We knew he would be a bit of a money taker but, he is so beautiful, every cent is worth it

if you can source rabbits give them a go, mine will eat anything, however a few mates with fussy ones had some success with rabbits.

Reedy's Repties have hatchlings avaiable for $250 and he is great to deal with.

I'm kicking myself because mine was sold to me eating mice. He went off his food for a short period and I made the mistake of offering him quail, now I'm paying for it. I have been told that once they reach a decent size olives are very unlikely to knock back a feed so I guess time will tell now.

Indeed. My male had been a little fussy on the rats, but had been accepting them. The female only ever sniffed at the rats, then turned her nose up at the offering. I could only ever feed her quail, and when the male went completely off his food I too made the mistake of offering him a quail. He's just as stubbornly fussy as her now. I will, as junglepython2 suggested, try them on rabbits once the weather warms... they're cooled at the moment, so I hope they will smash the rabbits when I bring their temps back up in August. Unfortunately, due to their very fussy nature, I have had a LOT of food go to waste as they sometimes outright refuse to eat. Consequently, they are still quite small for their age. I think they should be able to handle a pink rabbit, though.
