That is so true Dragonwolf.....I was a bit hesitant about getting it done locally as I had heard a few conflicting stories - but decided to give them a go anyway and I am very happy with the result.....except for the fact that it stung like a biarch yesterday and is a bit stiff and sore today.....and getting a comfortable position to sleep in last nite was not much fun either...lol
never mind - the things we do....................

Good work isn't cheap ANYWHERE.......

I got my calf done in Bali, as soon as I can be bothered getting a photo (have to shave my hairy legs first) I'll stick one up. It's quite a large piece and ended up costing me around $150, which is pretty bloody cheap. Great work, the guy actually trained in WA and tattooed here for about 10 years before going back home, and I didn't end up with AIDS so double win!
You do pay for it in other ways though, I'm pretty sure in Bali they tattoo straight onto the bone, ink on the skin is just incidental. It was hands down the most painful tat I've ever gotten, and I've had the tops of both feet done.
