    Looking for an image format converter...

    Hey all,
    I'm looking for a bulk image format converter, so I can change JPG's into .tif/.tiff files and NEF raw's into readable images...anyone know of some free software that will do this?

    try infranview, i use it for converting/resizing website images for hosting...

    If you use photoshop, there are a couple of scripts there that allow batch operations, including changing of format downloadable from here

    He has a lot of tips and techniques there anyway which make it worth a visit.

    Also, have a look here this is a great utility (I haven't used it yet) that does bulk conversions for the formats you mentioned above including the Nikon Raw formats and it is FREE!!!

    fotosizer. you can even do it by a whole folder not just individual photos.
