Must be a strangs snake to hang around after stricking in defence, and not trying to escape?

Apart from the really bad spelling and grammer (come on people, it's not hard to hit the spell check button prior to posting, it's the one with the letters ABC with a tick under them) it's totally plausible, I don't see your problem with it caustichumor.
Pssst, if anyone asks, I was here with you between 10pm and 3am last night.

I don't have a problem, it just seems odd to me that the snake stayed around until the ambulance turned up. Most snakes I have observed flee when they are threatened enough to bite. Then again maybe ambulances don't take as long to arrive where you are.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the critter just didn't sit there after having a nibble, I'm assuming that it would have headed for the nearest cover, and that my friend may have been a very short distance away.
