Hi everyone,

well there a positives and negatives.

negative is my car goes on Monday. My other child! My beautiful, high horse powered peice of japanese engineering!

The positive- I pay off my car loan, my credit cards and another loan with the money I get from her

So all in all there is a good to a bad I suppose!

It does suck however as I have done all the little features to make this particular WRX different to every other in Australia....Oh well Thats life I suppose

haha na man I havn't met a street legal 8 that can keep up with me, they are only good for a straight line. Plus the point of selling this is to be debt free and smart with money for a while...V8's in QLD are double to register what a 4cyl is....plus they are slower

so no point!

I am getting a little 50cc scooter so peeps watch out, I will be crusing the streets on that bad boy haha!

LOL Rego in QLD sucks big floppy donkey you know whats! I can't believe my 1275cc engine costs almost $700 a year to register cause it has 4 wheels and a little metal body and weighs almost 800KG!!! On the plus side She will be worth money in the end and not become obsolete. Good on ya for getting rid of the debt tho. Wish my old man would do that somehow, instead of being mini obsessed and spending it all on parts!

It's a shame about the car mate...

I've saved so much money since moving to NZ, getting rid of my Aussie tank, living within walking distance of work, and buying a car with half the cc rating and much lighter weight!

Plus - Rego in NZ.... Just $400 per year!!!

Insurance (full cover including third party), just $400 per year!

Petrol... Well, I walk most places - but petrol is expensive here... Now... I need to stop spending money on silly things and start paying off all my loans and credit cards too (that's in my plan).

yeah thats why I am going to buy a 50CC scooter. I will fuel it once a month---So probably a massive $8 there to fuel it and it will cheap as hell to register, can service it myself and its only $1700 brand spanking new! So can't complain hey.

Will be a nice feeling to be debt free....to be able to take the wife out for a special dinner once a month, so go places and do things without flintching and going oooo S(^&* thats going to blow the budget!

When I have my Midlife Crisis 20 years down the track I will buy the new model WRX

and work it lol

Rego here is criminal hey. And did you see recently the oh so very kind labor government has decided to freeze the rego for 3 years so it doesn't increase. HOW VERY F'ING NICE OF YOU. QLD has the most expensive rego in Australia. Its wrong! But thats life!

Big cars in QLD are just money pits with rego. CTP and running costs.

Well if you ever get another one you know where to get the best deals on parts lol! And just think... it's only a matter of time before an exciting new project comes along. Great that it's sorted you out financially at least. Just pass the time now until you have to scratch the itch again!

Was a pretty fancy car, too.

Quite flash for a young 20's year old boy to own! But also doesn't fit baby seats quite like the new car we have haha. Will bide my time with my stoked 70cc scooter

until the right funds come along lol, the next project might actually be a rx-7 fd3s!

It looks like every other riced up rexy I've seen

get your money back while you still can, they're heading the same way as skylines.... Thats the problem with cars, it's pretty hard to find someone that agrees with you on it's value. sounds like you've come to a deal that would be pretty hard to find later on. Financial security wins over cars, if only I had realised that 10 years ago lol.

Hahaha yeah I have sold it at its prime, because its a limited release and has luxury features most don't have I got that little bit more for it. Plus its perfect condition and it is one of a kind

The price in the next year on this model will drop by about 4 grand I reckon so perfect timing
