i need help

i fed my new green tree frog a cricket half an hour ago and he seems to be gasping for air and i hade a closer look at him and he seemed to have abit of mucus or slimey stuff around his mouth...plz tell me what it is.

He could be shedding, they eat the shed as it comes off.

yes all there lives, but pretty frequently when they are younger.

He sounds as tho he is shedding (they use their hands to wipe over their eyes & down their head...then back again....they also consume their skin. It's quite interesting to watch.
