Just a work in progress, nothing special yet.

It's a t.v. Cabinet I picked up for $10 that I'm Chopin the side cabinet bit off witch had no backing on it but just fitted one today and it has a glass door that I fitted a latch on to hold it shut can't wait to get crackin more on it!

Small tip: For vents, use metal strainers/drainers for kitchen sinks, they're cheap and more efficient than Bunnings' plastic ones with angled vents!

    Read rest here:

Thanks for the designs and tips, I think ill be doing a similar.design for my beardies.

$30 for glass, is that the price I should be looking at spending? I was imagining it to be a lot more.

Also ive read elsewhere that the vents should be high.on the hot end and low on the cool end is this true or am I better off your way?

Depending on size, I would only expect to pay around $30 for the glass - I know this as I sell glass

The vents should be as per the diagrams as hot air rises etc, if the vent is at the top on the hot side, it will not keep in the heat.

Kudos to all the enclosures, there are some great looking ones out there. I am currently building my own at the moment. It's been a project for the last week and half, should have it finished by/on this weekend. Pretty much the same as the diagrams shown.

Good luck with your build, looking forward to seeing some results!!

It would be for a 4 foot tank so two 2 foot panes, would the $30 be for the 2 or each?

Sorry for the questions the glass was the only thing I was uncertain about.
