It helps with hydration and also shedding - obviously do not use any soaps or the like...

You do not need to bath it.

hehe, i wasnt joking, i have a shower over the bath tub arrangement, i put the plug in, shower on and the beardies sit under the shower spray with their noses up loving it.
once the bath is halfway full i turn it off and they swim around and dive under water and wriggle/swim like alligators, its so cute,..!!

They love to swim and soak themselves. Mine have access to a deep water dish and spend a lot of time in it. Once their skin has softened up a bit they have a good scratch at any shedding skin and it comes off in the water.
Be warned - they usually poo in the bath.
I also hose them on the verandah. They love that too and sit with their heads up looking straight into the water. As soon as I stop, they run and jump into their water dish.
