Hey Zimbo,
what parts of their body were twitching and how old are your beardies?? It could possibly be mating behaviour.

I'd say MBD. Wh uv do you have? You shouldn't be keeping m/f in the same enclosure aswell.. Unless you want overbreeding/fighting which will stress both out and will kill the female if getting mated alot. If I was you I'd take both to the vet and atleast seperate them, you shouldn't of listened to the petstore "They need friends" if you did.

Dave.

dragons need to get within 6-8 inches to recieve max benefit, after 12 inches u may as well not bother.

get them into the sun weekly, or find a better ramp so they can get closer, or better still do both.

UVB's need to be replaced after 6 months cos the rays get too weak for dragons.

repti glo make good lights.

Unfortunetly reptiglo 10s are very bad and has been causing eye problems, exo terra said they have changed all repti glo 8's which are the good bulbs to 10.. Its inpossible to tell what is new stock (good repti glo or the bad stock. UVB needs to bve changed every 6months. Also does one lay on top of the other while basking or hogging food etc? If it is then that is a sign of dominence. Unfortunetly you might not be home one day and come back with one dead or with tail/toe nips. You should be seperating them even if they have known eachover as "babies" Do you know if there from the same clutch? I wouldn't want siblings breeding with eachover would you?

Dave.

I have actually had this happen with some juvi bearded dragons, taken to the vet; turns out it was large cockroaches that they had gotten a hold of, it was causing the limbs to shiver/twitch because the prey was too large and it was pushing on the nerves of their legs.. the vet said just see how they go and after 12 hours, they had stopped twitching, and im guessing that they had passed it..

i assumed the roaches may have climbed into the thermostat during one feeding and grown in there. I don't know if that's why yours are twitching, but it sounds very similar to mine, maybe they've eaten something too large to digest.

If this is going on for more than 24 hours, I suggest a vet

possibly, but considering its both of them together id think MBD (calcium deficiency) is more likely.
