Beardie progress :)

Hey All,

Thought I'd post a couple of pics of the bubs from this arvo and say thanks for the advice on feeding. I put some of the smallest of small crickets in the freezer to slow them down and they've both had a couple and looks like they've had a bit of bok choy while I've been at work today. Both are drinking water straight from my fingertips, it is, by far, the sweetest thing to watch

So here are some pics of the bubbas...

Yeh I picked them up from Zulu on Sunday. They're really very tiny, they just look big coz there's nothing to compare them to. They look about the same size as yours. I was so worried about them to start off with coz I'm new at this, but they are the sweetest little things So cute, I just sit there in front of the enclosure smiling like an idiot!!!

Smile re Beardie

I feed the small crix,i think the pinheads is more the thing for baby geks,i suppose if they ate heaps of pinheads it would make up for the size though,as long theyre eating thats the main thing, bigger isnt always better afterall haha

IWhen you post something on a thread it bumps it to the top of the list... though I don't know why you asked on this particular thread coz there isn't a bump on here?!

As for the pinheads Zulu, you could be right actually, but I'm still a little worried about one of them, she only ate a couple os small crix yesterday so I just want to be sure.... Can't hurt right? I've still got heaps of the smalls anyway so I'll see how she goes

As long as they are not half the size of beardies head live is fine....i often find that they see the small better than the pinheads....& if you can get baby woodies it will help it catch up quicker(often find them in a box of large woodies!)

Hello,

Ah, they are looking very good. I am sure they are growing already. Great pictures of them.
