i use this method for veg...
1/2 of green....eg bukchoy
1/4 of green....eg parsley
1/4 of veg....used as a garnish on top...carrot,pumkin or rose petals etc
so that the staple is 3/4 greens...& the veg is used as a garnish...
the amount i make is for 2 meals as my adults have veg every 4 days...
hatchies everyday & juvies every other day
i change the green & veg used every time i make them up so they dont get the same thing
twice in 2 weeks...
i also only use 2 different greens...in their salad...& 1 veg
if they have fruit i only use 1 green

Mushrooms also contain many minerals and vitamin (D3). Here is a reference to the nutrition breakdown of mushrooms. http://www.mushrooms.ca/good/nutrition.aspx
Reading online – I have seen a few people saying mushrooms are bad and others say they are good for bearded dragons. Mushrooms are eaten by many of the Australian wildlife after bushfires – Mushrooms are the only available after bushfires.
Note: I do not know if mushrooms are toxic to bearded dragons. | |
