Question best greens for beardies?

I recently got two bearded dragons and they are wonderful, friendly and healthy.

Bit worried about what greens to give them as they are happy to eat anything and i would hate to feed 'em something bad,
So what greens and veggies would you recommend for a healthy juvenile beardie and how often should i feed them it??
Any extra details you think i should know please do add.

Tah.

You can download in beardi diet from www.canberraexotics.com.au just go to the website and look for care sheets. Covers everything from feed daily to never feed. Hope this helps. Good luck.

What they like to eat and what is good for them are two different things, alot of greens, even greens that have high calcium levels may also be high in phosphurus, which stops the absorbtion of calcium, thus rendering it useless. The best greens are dandelions, fantastic calcium / phosphurus ratio and free, thus can be offered every day.

Yes...dandelions.....& hybiscus leaves & flower, rose petals ...naturally all great but for some not easy to get their hands on.
Make sure if you are getting these from the garden etc....that they are not sprayed with poisens!

Personally i stay away from iceberg & cos lettuce ,there is only hydration value in these...but the oriental varieties are better .......i dont feed cabbage ,swede,turnip,parsnip,potatoe..... i know these can twist the inner stomach on small rabbits & guinea.....a slow but painful death.
Rhubarb is a no no to most creatures because of its natural poisons that have to be cooked out!
