Boydii drinking branch...

My lovely partner made this for me yesterday, it pumps water up through the middle of the branch and spills over the top and down the branch, perfect for boydii and spinipes

Admittedly, I strategically placed the animal on the branch for the shots LOL!!

This is exactly how they drink when I mist them, so hopefully they will learn to use it!!

Tell your other half Saz, that he did a very good job. Smart Idea.

Does it continually run?

Also, your Boyd's are looking mighty happy like always.

Haven't decided yet whether to keep it running or just have it on a timer. Could do either. Actually we can't take credit for the idea, but he can take credit for the design LOL!

The female is eating HEAPS. She is making the male look anorexic at the moment as he doesn't eat half the amount she does!

Well Saz, your female must have an eating disorder of some sort, so to cure her problems, you better send her down to me for some.....ughh.....counselling. You may also need to send the male so he can give her support through this tough time in her life ;-)

LOL Rocket!

I was considering a waterfall, but they apparently trudge the substrate through it and clog it up, and knock them over when leaping about etc, so didn't sound like such a great idea. I'll let you know if I catch them drinking! Hopefully they will get the hang. The male was watching it earlier, so he was obviously intrigued by the running water.

Fantastic idea saz. Just becareful that the branch doesn't begin to either rot or start to grow fungus/mould. Be constantly wet like that it could become an issue. Other than that GREAT idea and FANTASTIC looking lizards. Well done!
