Could be a G'up. (deleted)
Corn snakes are quite often in the hands of people who do know nothing about the legalities or just dont care..

Yeah could be or could be someone who has no idea.

I once met someone years ago one time who had a boa that was before i knew they were illegal. However i should point out it was well over a decade ago.

there are a hell of alot of exotics in aust more than ever i personally think

majority of the people that keep them know full well that they are illegal but who knows if they pass on this info to people who buy them down the track

i have personally been offered quiet a few exotics the funniest was off a guy who made me up a few enclosures (not sure if they a member here or not) but yeah when i went to melb to pick them up he asked what they were for i said snakes he then went on to offer me a 4yo Boa wasnt his was owned by a 'mate' that got it as a hatchie but then when it got big he realized it wasnt the best option lol

i said no of co**** lol but have also been offered an albino corn snake plus many normal ones and a ball python

so they are out there and there are people breeding them
