Eastern Water Dragons and fish???

Hey guys,
this is my first post and i have a 1 1/2yr old male beardy (ICURUS), two 14mth old eastern water draogns (SONIC & SPIKE), and a 6mth old gippsland waterd dragon (PEGASUS)..
im just wondering if it is possible to have fish in my two eastern water dragons ponds?? and weather they will or are able to eat them??? any info will be greatly appreciated..

hi matt. yes u sure can have fish in there. when i use to keep water dragons i had them in the house in a huge tank whilst they were young and small. i kept feeder fish in there, and they would constantly try and catch them, and on quite a few occasions they suceeded. however if u have a larger set up with a pond and had larger fish, it would look awesome, but it all boils down to the dragon and wether or not it can be bothered with the fish. i say go for it, it will look great :-)

in my outside setup i have comets in my water dragon pond and they have been there for over a year and are still all alive!
when they were smaller and were inside i had zebra danios in the tank and they all got eaten or died from stress as there was not as much room to get away....

Hey thanks guys,
I think they will love it too.. off to the pet shop to find me some small feeder fish, hopefully they might even keep the water a bit cleaner... thanks for the help!!

I also have comets in my water dragons pond, they usually end up putting more waste into the water than what they clean up.

I haven't lost a fish yet either.

haha might have to get myself some sucker fish to help with the cleaning.. has anyone got any pics of their outdoor enclosures with ponds??? as i am looking at building my own in the near future??

like i said i havent lost a fish in over a year and guess what.... ive never fed them either!!!! they just feed on the water dragons waste! yum!
