You might want to get a copy of :
Quote:
CARE & BREEDING OF POPULAR TREE FROGS - Green Tree Frogs, White-lipped Tree Frogs, White’s Tree Frogs and Red-eyed Tree Frogs, by Philippe de Vosjoli, Robert Mailloux and Drew Ready.
Soft cover, 21.5cm x 14cm, 80 pages, 16 colour and 24 black & white photos. This book, written by experienced and recognised herpetoculturists, focuses on the care of popular tree frogs now sold in significant numbers in pet stores. It covers many essential topics, from acclimating imported species to housing, feeding and captive breeding. This is a practical manual for the serious hobbyist who cares about the welfare of their animals. $14.00 per copy
Available from the Herp Shop and doubtless other places also.

Contrary to how you see them set up in pet shops GTF's do not thrive in a damp environment but access to clean fresh water (for drinking, aka dunking their bums in) is a must. This can be as simple as a bowl cleaned daily or a filtered aquarium style arrangement.

Some quick info - I keep a single adult in an 18 x 18 x 24 Exoterra. I use fine aquarium gravel as a substrate - I don't feed on this however (feed her in a separate plastic box). I don't use a water section but rather a large bowl which is much easier to keep clean. UV light is essential. I have some big branches for climbing with some Exoterra plants draped around the enclosure. Also have some flat smooth rocks under those plants for sleeping on during the day.

My tank is 60cm x 30 x 45. I have 2 gtf and a white lip living in there.. quite happily. I have a false bottom set up and soil, live plants ect. Only just put UV lighting but the frogs are nocturnal so don't get much anyway. The plants enjoy it though. I have an exo-terra baclground, painted and a waterfall feature. I think i've posted photos on here before somewhere....
